Anaplan outlines $500M multi-year product investment designed to advance its category leadership in scenario planning and analysis
The release of native data management capability, Anaplan Data Orchestrator, is the first in a series of groundbreaking product innovations
MIAMI, FL - Anaplan, the leading scenario planning and analysis platform designed to optimize decision-making in today’s complex business environment, today outlined a multi-year innovation roadmap that delivers breakthrough platform capabilities, applications and AI designed to help enterprises make decisions better, faster and more efficiently than others in their markets. The first of these breakthrough capabilities is Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO).
ADO is an enterprise-ready data integration, transformation, and management product that accelerates time to better decision-making. More specifically, ADO conquers the complexity of the data orchestration needed for scenario planning and analysis, as well as financial close and consolidation, by:
- Connecting to third-party applications and data sources (e.g. ERP systems like SAP, CRM systems like Salesforce, cloud data layers like Snowflake, etc.), to bring data into an Anaplan environment via a no-code interface
- Transforming this source data into a structure and format needed for Anaplan models through native conversions that are saved and automatically repeated
- Storing the transformed data in a single place to simplify the monitoring, management and distribution of the data to all existing planning models as well as new ones
- Disseminating lists, hierarchies and data into Anaplan models from a single source of business data truth
- Visualizing the data as a map, from sources through to Anaplan models, showing complete data lineage and transformations (see figure below)

ADO is the first in a series of impactful product announcements that the company will be making in coming months.
