Anaplan acquires applications division from partner Vuealta
New out-of-the-box applications will deliver agility and faster time-to-value as customers navigate continued supply chain disruption
Anaplan, recognized by Gartner® as a Leader in the 2022 Magic Quadrant™ for Supply Chain Solutions, announced the acquisition of Vuealta’s application division, including purpose-built, out-of-the-box applications for Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, and Sales and Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning (S&OP/IBP). Provider of a market-leading platform for planning and decision-making, Anaplan helps global brands like Coca-Cola, Jaguar Land Rover, and Nvidia address their most pressing supply chain challenges. Under the agreement, the company will add four best-in-class applications to its existing supply chain offering, a move that will arm Anaplan customers with greater choice and faster time-to-value as they respond to the real-world problems impacting their operations today. Anaplan will also welcome nineteen employees from Vuealta’s application division to their global team.
“Rapid, complex change has become a feature of the modern operating environment, and supply chain leaders especially are being tested by their ability to make the right daily planning decisions in the face of ongoing disruption,” said Bill Schuh, Chief Revenue Officer at Anaplan. “Our customers need to be able to plan and act at the speed of the market to drive their business forward. With Vuealta’s suite of applications running on the Anaplan platform, we can arm businesses with industry best practices that can be configured and deployed quickly, so they realize value from their digital transformation efforts immediately. I’m thrilled to welcome Ian and his team to Anaplan.”
“Vuealta has been a trusted Anaplan partner for many years, so I’m extremely pleased to see our relationship evolve in this way. Our applications run on Anaplan’s powerful planning platform, allowing customers to easily adapt and scale their models as shifts in the market, industry, or business occur,” said Ian Stone, CEO at Vuealta. “Together, we’ve helped companies like Fonterra, Polaroid, Vita Coco, and Del Monte transform their operations to drive growth and opportunity, and I look forward to working with the team to help even more leaders tackle their most dynamic supply chain challenges.”
Since joining Anaplan’s robust partner ecosystem in 2017, Vuealta has used its deep business and sector expertise to help companies optimize operations and realize the value of Connected Planning. When Vita Coco needed a supply chain planning solution to support ambitious growth goals, for instance, the leading coconut water brand chose to run one of Vuealta’s impressive applications on the Anaplan platform. With Vuealta’s wealth of industry knowledge and Anaplan’s connected planning platform, Vita Coco staff across the globe can now access, share, and analyze planning and supply data quickly and efficiently – which enables prompt decisions and nimble, responsive planning.
